Hakuba47 has 2 types of un-patrolled off-piste terrain. The Tree Skiing Area is accessible to anyone, while the Tree Riding Zone requires registration. It is free to register and you can do it ahead of time online here. Once you arrive at Hakuba 47 you will need to attend a short safety briefing after which you will be issued a member’s card for the season. You can use your card to received a red Hakuba 47 Bib which is required to be worn at all times when in the trees.
