Kashimayari - Hakuba

Kashimayari 鹿島槍スキー場

Kashimayari Resort is the second southern most resort on the Hakuba Valley Lift Ticket and is an excellent choice for avoiding the crowds at larger resorts such as Happo One. The resort has a distinctly Japanese feel and caters primarily to the Japanese ski community.

Kashimayari Sports Village

Located at mid-mountain, Kashimayari Sports Village has a large cafeteria with plenty of Japanese food options. There is also a Baskin Robbins, a ski rental shop, an onsen, and a hostel accommodation. However, we recommend staying in one of the central villages surrounding Happo One Resort and taking a day trip to Kashimayari as the area is quite isolated and there are limited dining options in the evening.

Snow Tubing

In 2020 Kashimayari Resort opened Japan’s longest snow tubing course. The course is 500m long and is open to children and adults.
